Do you know about Templefest?
Templefest is a virtual collection of workshops and rituals for beginners to advanced practitioners of witchcraft, created by The Temple of Witchcraft (@temple_of_witchcraft).
It’s happening over Zoom this year, and the topics are juicy with magic. From emeralds to anatomy, to storytelling… RICH WITCH INFO! And Neon Altar is one of the sponsors this year!
Please peek at their online schedule-- classes are super relevant, from knowledgeable teachers. Like Plants and Planets, taught by Sam Belyea, discussing how to use five different parts of a plant and the seven personal planets of traditional Astrology to improve your spellcraft. Of course I’m in.
I’m also attending a workshop on the narrative of DESCENT, in which Katrina Messenger will review the three models of descent via myth, folktale and film.
The work of the Temple is both other-worldly and terrestrial, seeking to strengthen the connections between spirit and matter through inner transformation and public service. Co-founded by Christopher Penczak, Steve Kenson, and Adam Sartwell, the Temple started in 1998 as a system of magickal training and personal development, and eventually developed into a formal tradition of Witchcraft.
Neon Altar, a metaphysical marketplace honoring the power of intuition, is honored to support Templefest 2020, a magical collection of minds and thought. Go to http://templefest.templeofwitchcraft.org/ to sign up for classes running August 22-23, 2020. Peek at the ad Neon Altar will be running!
