Palo Santo (literally, Holy Wood) cleanses your personal space of all energies, leaving it open to receive the energy you choose to call in.
Neon Altar’s Palo Santo batch is from Peru, harvested under the supervision of Peruvian natives. No trees are destroyed. All sticks are cut from twigs and branches gathered from the ground. It’s fresh, on the sweeter side, and burns beautifully.
To release Palo Santo’s strong, rich, sweet and comforting scent: hold single stick over a candle or match to light, then blow out the flame and set in a heatproof dish for a puff of cleansing smoke. Repeat this process as often as necessary.
Beware; the hotter your Palo Santo burns, the more gray ash flutters about. Be careful with white fabrics. Water wipes away most smudges.
To cleanse your home...
Burn Palo Santo until the stick is glowing hot, then blow the flame out and walk through your house, waving the smoke into the corners and center of each room.
